GREAT WEBSITES TO MAKE YOUR FISHING TRIP MORE SUCCESSFUL

Scott Torello gave a great presentation to the membership at the May meeting. With the help of his laptop computer, Scott demonstrated how the internet can help you find fish and get to the fishing spots. The upcoming Steelhead fishing at Erieau, Ontario, was the main topic to help members become familiar with that great fishery. A great website for that port is www.erieaumarina. com. This will give fishing updates, as well as links to other sites that will help. Something else that may be beneficial is to Google "Michigan Seagrant Coast Watch" for their site. It will give you current information on water temp, clarity, wave height as well as other information that may help catch you fish and keep you safe. A great website with information on warm water as well as cold water fishing is www.michigan-sportsman.com. At this site, you can read information posted by members to help you get to the right spot and use the right stuff to catch fish.
