Club Picnic

The annual BWSA picnic features grilled fish, fish boil, hot dogs, cold beverages, fun and games for all club members and immediate family.

This event is also a membership drive, there will be a membership table manned by some of our members so if you are thinking about becoming a club member, please come !

This picnic is free to members and guest's pay only $5 for the picnic.

We always have a good crowd for this event who come to enjoy the good food, exaggerated fishing stories, kid's games and seeing some good old friends.

There often is a fishing seminar for those serious fishermen.

The annual picnic is held on the 2nd Wednesday in August at the Lions Club Park located at the intersection of I-94 and Water Street in Port Huron Township. Picnic starts at 6 pm.

This years picnic was held on August 8th.  The tremendous heat of the hottest day of the summer couldn't quell the enthusiasm of our club members who attended our annual event.  About 150 members and their families attended !  The event featured Rob Helzer's famous fish boil (fish was donated from club members who fished the Rockport tournament).  Many thanks to Rob for his organizing this feast and also the many volunteers who helped put on the meal, raffle, kids games and clean up.
